Each year the counselors will meet with students for their College and Career Readiness Conferences. - The 8th graders will have individual student/parent/counselor conferences in the fall to discuss high school requirements, high school options, the four year plan, and future plans for college and career. - The 7th graders will have group meetings in the CCA (College and Career Awareness) classes to discuss career and college options.
Meet with your counselor to develop a four-year high school plan. (Try to take 2 years of a foreign language and 4 years of math and science during high school).
Some colleges require you to take certain classes for admission. Be sure to research the admissions requirements at the colleges you're considering including GPA, ACT/ SAT scores, and specific high school classes they may require.
